Miracle Monday-Grandpa Jack

One year ago today my husband's father lay in the ICU with four brain aneurysms. One ruptured requiring surgery. Surgery that was very risky. We had to give the consent for surgery and were told he would not make it without this surgery. He also might not make it through this surgery. He might not be the same ever again either. So, we prayerfully considered this and told them to go ahead. He was very unstable and after an all day and evening surgery he went back to ICU still in a coma on a ventilator. It was a long hard road for my father in law. He remained on a ventilator unconscious for longer than expected and we waited, prayed, spent all hours at the hospital while his body slowly recovered. He was in the hospital 5 weeks and there were ups and many downs but by the grace of God he lived. He made it through surgery, made it through the hospital stay, went to a rehab facility, went home with PT/OT services. Today he is back to work as an RN and you would never know that one year ago he was laying completely helpless in a hospital bed near death.
"A miracle, derived from the old Latin word miraculum meaning "something wonderful", is a striking interposition of divine intervention by a supernatural being in the universe by which the ordinary course and operation of Nature is overruled, suspended, or modified."

I believe my father in law experienced a miracle. I believe that divine intervention by a supernatural being aka GOD took over the ordinary course of his life and overruled. By all accounts he should not be alive today. Yes modern medicine was there to assist but there are all sorts of variables and events that could have occurred that did not. God's saving grace intervened and by his hands Grandpa Jack was healed.
